During my recent travels to Khiva, I had the chance to stay at the Tosh Darvoza hotel. As a frequent traveler, I often find myself in need of a convenient and comfortable place to stay, especially during transit. The Tosh Darvoza hotel perfectly fulfilled this requirement. Situated just 33 km away from the nearest airport, it was incredibly convenient for me to reach after a long flight. The hotel also provided a database that contained all the necessary details about the accommodation, making it easy for me to plan my stay.

While my overall experience at the Tosh Darvoza hotel was pleasant, there was one minor issue that I encountered. The consistency of the Wi-Fi signal could have been better.

We had an really good stay at this boutique hotel in the heart of the old town. The family-run atmosphere made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The location was perfect, great to easily explore all the sights and restaurants in Khiva. The rooms were clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and basic toiletries provided. The highlight of our stay was when the owner organized a tour for us to explore the forts outside of Khiva. The meals prepared by his wife were delicious, especially the plov. The owner were pretty good by driving us to Nukus to catch our train. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

The WiFi could have been more consistent, but it was resolved when we brought it to the owner's attention.

The bed was super comfy and the room was really spacious. Breakfast had a great variety and everything was delicious! 😊

The host family's in-depth knowledge of the area made our stay even more special, as they offered insightful guidance and activities to fully explore and appreciate the local culture. The location was also perfect, just a two-minute walk to the center but still quiet for a good night's sleep. We felt very welcome and had a great time thanks to the warm hospitality of Kamal and his family.

I always choose this place for my stay in Khiva. Lovely staff, who helped me find my lost id card. It has everything I need, including free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, a coffee shop, and an airport shuttle. Perfect for my city trip.

Amazing City View: From my room, I could see the bustling streets of Khiva. It felt like I was watching a live movie, with the colorful characters and vibrant energy filling the scene. The view added an extra touch of magic to my stay.

Inconsistent Laundry Service.

I had the most heartwarming experience at Tosh Darvoza! Upon arriving, Kamal, the owner, personally picked me up from the airport. He were pretty good too show me the beauty of Uzbekistan, taking me to orphanages, a cotton production plant, and even on a nice trip to Moynak. The breakfast prepared by Kamal's wife was delicious and really set me up for the day. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable double bed. The location within the old city walls made it convenient to explore all the attractions. The only tiny drawback was the inconsistent WiFi, but Kamal promptly fixed it when I brought it to his attention. I highly recommend this hotel for its warmth, hospitality, and perfect location.
